6.0L aluminum flex-fuel, Gen IV, AFM (2011–2013 Caprice PPV). Every kit below is spec'd for the L77 specifically — not a one-size "LS1/LQ4/5.3" overhaul set — and every part is checked against the others before it ships.

- Ring set matched to your grooves: Mahle Original Premium ring set, standard 4.000" bore — 1.2 / 1.5 / 2.5mm (Gen IV 6.0, and late/replacement LQ4-LQ9-LS2 pistons — measure: 1.2mm top ring).
- AFM / DOD engine. A stock-cam refresh keeps your AFM lifters; any performance cam needs the AFM delete (non-AFM lifters, delete valley cover, plugged lifter oil galley) and an AFM-off tune — the builder adds the hardware automatically.
- Rectangle port heads, ~68cc chambers. Cams, pistons (valve-pocket angle) and rockers are matched to the port — a rectangle-port grind is the baseline.
- 58x crank reluctor. Any replacement crank or timing set keeps the signal your computer expects.
- Factory 6.098" rods. Forged-rod kits use 6.125" rods with pistons to match — we pair them so deck clearance comes out right.
- Aluminum Gen IV block — resleeve-ready. Darton MID sleeves take it to a 4.125" bore and up to a 4.125" stroke.
